There's nothing quite like a spring ride through a steaming and vibrant Pacific Northwet forest - vivid green moss, early wildflowers (Trillium, Bleeding Heart, ...), and the fresh scent of sap flowing.  Dirt was great - the recent light showers put just enough moisture back into the tread to beat the dust and set up some mega traction, without making things mucky.  Spent a lot of time riding the refurbished clearcut trail, which is great.  No mud, no blowdown anywhere - just a great escape.
