Great foggy workout
I was interested to explore some new trail in the Washington state so I looked through tens of trails and ride/hike reports and decided to ride Muller Mount.
Trail conditions:
The trail is free out of snow, nice and dry. But there were at least two dozens of blowdowns and it turned the ordinary MTB trail in obstacle-track :) (fallen trees are on the ridge and the top half of the downhill trail).
Emotions:
Weather didn't want to share with the sun that day. The summit was covered with fog so when I was making the first lap I didn't get any views... I was proud of myself that I decided to replace 32 chainring with 28 the day before. It helped me to complete 2/3 of the uphills in the saddle. But the most fun I got in the bottom forest. It is really nice and flow... Like a paradise after 2 hours of suffering... And it was one of the reasons why I hazarded to make the second lap. This time 15% climb was made on foot. I just tried to ride the trail without unnecessary stops. Was rewarded by the weather - fog almost gone and I got some great views on the top.
Anyway, it was really epic workout. Trail is great, but it needs some maintenance with the chainsaws...
