This is an official Evergreen Crank Sisters Ride Leader Training at Duthie.
REQUIREMENTS: Must identify as female, participated in prior Evergreen Crank Sisters rides, and strong desire to lead future Evergreen Crank Sisters rides.
Schedule: The training is about 2.5 hours. The first hour will be lecture going over the Evergreen Crank Sisters Ride Leader process and manual and ABC Head Check. The second 1.5 hours will be an on trail mentor ride with actual beginner and intermediate riders. Participants wanting to be Evergreen Crank Sisters Ride Leaders will be required to do one more mentor ride after the training to be approved to post Official Evergreen Crank Sisters rides on their own.

Before you RSVP for this ride, please sign the waiver at https//.www.evergreenmtb.org/my/waiver: Right click and click open in new window. This waiver needs to be signed once a year. When you click the link, it will tell you whether you have signed this year. If not, it will give you a link to sign it.
- Please cancel your RSVP before the ride time if you can’t make the ride. Text the rider leader Bobbie Howard: 425-219-3110 if you have to cancel within two hours of the ride. Please RSVP at least 2 hours before the ride.
Equipment:
- Please bring: rain jacket, a mountain bike in good working order, helmet, 1 liter of water, electrolytes, backpack with some snacks, and spare bike tube.
E-Bikes: King County Parks adopts the same position as DNR: You can legally use E-Bikes on trails if you have an ADA place card in your car. Here is the link to trails that allow E-Bikes without needing an ADA card: https://www.evergreenmtb.org/ebikeaccess.
Conditions for cancellation: (heavy wind, lightning, flooding etc.) If a ride must be canceled, the ride leader will attempt to contact anyone signed up by 3pm the day before the ride.
