Teanaway TrailFest Trailwork - Upper Big Sandy Trail Finishing work!

TEANAWAY TRAILFEST!

This workparty is part of the Teanaway Trailfest which is raising money for trail maintenace and building new trails in the Towns to Teanaway trail system (such as Brass Monkey and Rat Pac on the ridge above Cle Elum and Roslyn) and the Teanaway Community Forest trail system (the trails on the other side of the ridge).

The Teanaway Trailfest is being put on in conjunction with DruBru in Cle Elum and we have a full slate of events planned for June 21/22:

• Movie night at the Roslyn Theater on June 21st
• Trailwork on the morning of June 22nd (this workparty!)
• Afternoon shuttles to the ridge to ride Rat Pac or Brass Monkey (no other trails will be open for shuttles)
• Evening party at DruBru with live music, beer, food, games, raffle and silent auction

For this workparty we are going to focus on finishing the new Upper Big Sandy Trail that connects to the BST trail for a single track ride from the West Fork Trailhead to the Cle Elum Ridge!

Sandwiches and Beer Tokens (Beer Tokens can be redeemed at the DruBru evening party) will be provided to all participants. THANK YOU to Swiftwater Fitness in Cle Elum for sponsoring our lunch!

All you need to bring are gloves and a desire to give back with some trail work. We will supply all the tools. Finish work is simply leveling the machine-dug trail, and packing. It's easy! Everyone is welcome!
