Middle Fork Snoqualmie ride-out & back.
**Meeting time is 7:30 am-Update-we'll plan to shorten the route due to a report about trail conditions, the trail is pretty bad with a lot of blow downs between Dingford Creek & Goldmyer. We'll plan to ride from the main parking lot to the Dingford Creek waterfall & back.** Keep in mind that this is a remote area with no cell service. Make sure to bring enough water, snacks, and lunch. It wouldn't hurt to bring a portable water filter just in case & a basic first aid kit.
Join us for a ride on the Middle Fork Snoqualmie trail. Starting from the Middle Fork Snoqualmie trailhead/parking lot. https://goo.gl/maps/JVaZSqgW8Kb8Mu7i8 I'm going to try to park on the west side of the parking lot by the trailhead, close to the pit toilet. I have a red Xterra. We'll plan to start the ride about 7:45 or so, as long as we have everyone there.
We'll start early because this is a multi-use trail and it's easier to start early when fewer people are out. This is a fantastic technical XC route with some challenging features and awesome scenery. Rolling hills, roots, rocks, step-ups, etc. Moderate pace, but we'll stop for photos along the way. We'll plan to ride to the Dingford creek waterfall and back to the parking lot. Total mileage: about 12.45 miles, elevation gain: about 1900 feet of climbing. Bring a lunch, plenty of water, and rain gear if appropriate. For trail conditions, check WTA's website: Middle Fork Snoqualmie River — Washington Trails Association (wta.org) Keep in mind that Evergreen's trail page has not been updated, the trail is open to use. (Mountain biking is only permitted on odd-numbered days here.)
