A sunny lap at Japanese Gulch - No drop, intermediate + ride. Boeing / BNSF side of tracks.
Join me for a low key, social lap of Japanese Gulch. Sea to Sky! See some of the work and new trails that are underway. This is intended to be a social pace, no drop ride. Maybe do a lap or two of the Gulch, which is roughly 7 miles per lap and maybe 1,000 feet of climbing if you count the three or four climbs on the "descent" (loose term). Options on the descent include some optional black and very double black diamond sections. Conditions are greasy, so focusing on mostly the Boys to Men, Orion and maybe a lap down Rocket 88 as well!
Meet at the Dog Park. Extra parking on road across the bridge on the North Side.
If the group would like to Apres, let's pedal over and grab something tasty from Cabernet's and IPA's. With outdoor fires, covered seating and lots of room to keep an eye on bikes, it's a good spot in Mukilteo. Welcome to park near there if you'd prefer.
