Team Epic Poker Ride
We are excited to partner with FSA for our Team Epic Poker Ride on September 1st!
Team Epic members, please join us for a fun evening (RSVP Required) exploring the Japanese Gulch trails in Mukilteo and sharing a cold beer and some pizza with one of our major supporters, FSA components. FSA became a significant donor this year, and their North American office is just a short ride from the Japanese Gulch Trails! The ride will be self-led, and we'll have folks at a few intersections to deal you a poker hand. Get your seven cards, and then head to the Diamond Knot Brewery Taproom for a private after-ride beer and pizza. The best 5-card poker hand rider will win a sweet prize from FSA!
Details:
Trailhead Location: 76th Street Community Garden Access
Route Information: Team Epic Poker Ride
Game Plan:
5:30 - 7:00 pm -- Go Ride! You can show up anytime between 5:30 and 7:00 pm and hit the trails. This is not a guided ride. We want you to explore, but our local trail steward Evan Pierce has created a 10-mile loop for you. Check the route link for details. We will have volunteers at a few intersections to deal you a poker hand as you ride. Dealers will be on the trails until 7:00 pm, so make sure to make the loop before then to get your hand. Each registered rider will get a single card per stop for a total of seven cards. Your five best cards will be the hand you play.
7:00 - 7:30 pm -- Finish the ride and make your way to the Diamond Knot Brewery Taproom.
7:30 - 9:00 pm -- Beer and Pizza! Join your fellow Team Epic members, key Evergreen staff, volunteers, board members, and our friends from FSA for a great social evening. We'll be collecting the cards and tallying the hands you're dealt. We will announce the winner at 8:30.
Be sure to RSVP below. If you bring a family member, they will need to RSVP independently, please.
