Trail Tuesday featuring Crazy Eights at Pearrygin State Park, Methow Chapter
It's Trail Tuesday featuring the winter fatbiking trail Crazy Eights at Pearrygin State Park in the Methow!
Trail System: Pearrygin State Park
Difficulty Rating: Blue/Intermediate
Trail Description:
Pearrygin State Park features a variety of groomed snow trails that are 30 inches wide and vary in difficulty from flat terrain near the lake to rolling hills and some sustained climbs, making this a beautiful winter fat biking zone. There are several “Fatbikes only” trails, such as the beloved Crazy Eights intermediate fatbiking trail; as well as several “All Users” trails open to fatbikes, snowshoeing, walking, and skiing. These trails are regularly groomed in the winter, check out Methow Cycle & Sport for more information.
Access: ⚠️ A Sno-Park permit, available at Methow Cycle & Sport, is required to park at the Lake Creek, Boat Ramp and Upper Entrance trailheads. Sno Park permits support winter trail preparation, lot and equipment maintenance, and pay for trail grooming staff!
Remember to adjust tire pressure or choose different trails if you encounter soft sections to avoid leaving deep tracks (deeper than 1 inch).
