You should meet Shawn.
Shawn loves building trail for you. As the trail boss for the Ollalie Project, he spends most days shaping trails alone, knowing you and your friends will love them as much as he does.
But right now, Shawn needs you. Record October rains hammered our crew’s progress, requiring levels of re-work we’ve never seen. New seeps and storm blowdowns in the fall aren’t uncommon, but October was record-breaking.
Storms harmed several sections of finished trail. Some of Shawn’s sustainable designs and natural features were completely buried.
And Ollalie wasn’t the only project affected—Raging River and Darrington also experienced unexpected storm setbacks.
But Shawn’s dedication to you hasn’t gone anywhere.“It was sad to see," he says “but we’re mountain bikers, and a little rain isn’t stopping us.”
So Shawn kept going. "Now we’re pushing to get all the projects back on track.”
