Ashlie grew up in central Illinois with no mountain biking in sight. Upon moving to Colorado in 2014, she overheard a barista at a local coffee shop talking about the joy of riding the epic rib cage at Phil's World and had to know what it was all about. The barista lent her a mountain bike, one size too large, and that's when she instantly fell in love with the magic of powering herself forward on singletrack. Since then, Ashlie's mountain bike has taken her on numerous adventures in Colorado, Idaho and Washington along with many friends and memories. When she's not exploring backcountry trails by bike, you can also find Ashlie trail running, snowboarding, hiking, camping or traveling with her partner and two dogs, River and Fern.

She stepped into her role as Trails Program Manager in February 2025 as a member of Evergreen, bringing with her a background in environmental project management, trail stewardship, and outdoor recreation. With experience in project leadership, risk assessment, and outdoor retail, she is passionate about creating sustainable trails and fostering community engagement for the beautiful state of Washington.
