Tiger Mt Work Party Sunday, July 8th - 9:00 AM

Location: Tiger Mountain

New trail construction on Tiger is back in full swing. Come be a part of history! This work party will be led by DNR staff. Meet in the main (lower) parking lot and grab the free shuttle up to the top. We have to be on time and lock the gate behind us, so please show up early so you're ready to go by the start time. We'll be back in our cars by 3pm. Learn about full bench construction, proper drainage, trail flow,etc... we'll teach you everything you need to know. Meeting Location: Tiger summit trailhead -- lower lot. More Info: More details about the weekend work parties: *All Weekend Work Parties will run from 9AM-3PM every Other Sunday from National Trails Day, June 2, through Nat Public Lands Day, Sept 29- plus 2 Saturdays – June 2 and September 29 (National Trails and Public Lands Days) *SOME Weekend Work Parties will include a Barbeque/drinks *All Work Parties will include an optional free shuttle (mtn biking hours not counted as vol labor match hours and not covered under L&I) *All DNR hosted work parties will include a Discover Pass Volunteer Voucher (24 hours of vol labor within 12 month period earns you a free Discover Pass). What to bring: Water, lunch, snack and a pack to haul it in -- we have to hike to the work site. Work boots or heavy duty hiking boots. Rain gear and layers. Safety glasses and work gloves if you have them. We'll provide: All the tools Gloves and safety glasses if you need them Water bottles and a few snacks if you need them Hope you can make it!
