Soaring Eagle brushing-and-tuning Work Party Saturday, September 4th - 9:00 AM
Crew leader: Bryan Location: Soaring Eagle
Soaring Eagle needs a little TLC, mostly brushing and a few minor trouble-spots on the surface. We're going to focus on the north edge, and depending on time and progress, might pick off a few of the targets of opportunity on the south edge.

The majority of the time will be spent clearing back briars and other brush from the trail corridor, and patching/contouring trail tread.

King County is facilitating this event and will be providing tools, but if you have your own loppers, hand saw, or brush rake, feel free to bring it. No power tools though.

In any case, you should have: a good pair of gloves, safety glasses, solid hiking boots, plenty of water, and something to eat (if you plan to stay past lunch).

We will meet in the E Main Drive parking lot at 9:00 and work until 2:00pm at the latest. Feel free to leave at any time before that though.

Middle Fork Snoqualmie Work/Ride/Camp Saturday, September 11th - 8:00 AM
Crew leader: Glenn Location: Middle Fork Snoqualmie River
This is a great opportunity to help fulfill the trail work commitment for this trail while also having a fun weekend campout! We'll work the trail on Saturday, camp near the trailhead that evening with a BBQ provided, and then Sunday we'll ride the trail. There'll be different ride groups as appropriate depending on skill level and how far people want to ride.

This is an incredible trail in a beautiful area and it it important that the mountain bike community do its part to keep it open. In fact for most of the upper section the only usage is bikers so without our effort it may become unridable.

Don't be intimidated if you've never done trail work before. Every level of experience and strength is useful and needed!

You don't have to spend the weekend if you dont want to but you'll miss out! Seriously, just come for the work party if that is all your schedule allows.
