Dirt Riders Club - Mt Bike Series for Youth Monday, May 21st - 5:30 PM
Organizer: Carolyn Location: Saint Edward State Park
Register at - https://www.bikereg.com/15436/Dirt-Riders-Club---Mt-Bike-Class-Series-for-Youth

Let's Ride! The Dirt Riders Club is for kids ages 9-14.

We'll meet once a week for 5 weeks and ride for 2 hours, between 5:30 and 7:30 pm. We’ll start each session with warm up drills, then hit the trails, exploring twisting single track, rallying over roots and logs, and playing balance and agility games. One day will include trail building techniques. Groups will split by age and ability. Bring a working mountain bike and helmet.

This class is held at St. Edward State Park, which does require a parking pass, details here - http://www.discoverpass.wa.gov/
(If you wait until May to purchase your pass, it is possible that a new state law may allow one pass to be used in two cars by then. Right now it is one pass per car.) Directions to the park are here - http://evergreenmtb.org/wiki/index.php?title=St_Edwards

The cost is $95 for Evergreen members and $125 for non-members (includes membership). An annual family membership is $50/yr.

Riders should:

•Be enthusiastic about mountain biking on single track trails!
•Dress appropriately for the weather.
•Bring water and a snack.
•Wear a Snell or CPSC Helmet (required)
•Have completed the attached waiver and medical form (required)
•Have a mountain bike in good working order, preferably with front suspension. Please remove kick stands prior to the class.

The ride leader will send out an email prior to the ride with logistics and drop-off details. Light rain we still ride, heavy rain cancels. You will be contacted in the event of a cancellation. For questions or concerns, please email the ride leader.
