Sturdy Bitch Women's Winter Training Series Wednesday, February 17th - 6:00 PM
Ride leader: Susan Location: Thrilla Route
We're officially sponsored by Sturdy Bitch and Big Tree Bikes so there's a bit of a name change on the rides... but, we are still going to keep on going with the weekly women’s rides with an intent to build/maintain fitness throughout the winter. These rides are for riders with intermediate skills and with a good base fitness. Riders should be comfortable climbing 1500-1800 feet in a 15-18 mile ride. Riders must be comfortable riding at night and have their own light. There will be little to no stopping on the ride, we will be moving at a consistently medium-fast pace.

Rides will generally take place on Wednesdays though occasional weekend rides with more extended distance and elevation gain will be posted as well. Riders should bring their own water, food, tools, pump and spare tube.

If you already have a good base of skill and fitness and want to maintain that and grow your climbing ability to the winter, come on out and join me. Will ride in the drizzle, pouring rain cancels.

Please drop from the ride no later than 4PM if you don’t intend to show up. If there are names on the list, people will show with the expectation that you’ll be there. : ) Don’t make us drive out to find ourselves alone at the trailhead. : )

Thanks!

Looking forward to strong legs, good lung capacity, and a renewed love for climbing.
