Speedy Beavers will be leading a women's only (sorry boys!) cross county ride through the Whisltle and Heart Lake areas of the Anacortes Forest Lands. This ride is suited for intermediate riders. These trails are excellent places to ride in the winter, as they drain well - but be ready to climb some hills!.
Directions to Heart Lake Parking Area:
Take Hwy 20W from I-5 off ramp exit 230 in Burlington. Follow rout 20 for about 15 miles, then the road reaches a round-a-bout, exit south onto Commercial Ave, right on Filadgo Ave, left onto O Ave, right onto 41st street, left on to H Ave, which become Heart Lake Road. Go about 1/4 of a mile and the Heart Lake parking area will be on the right. |
