Green River Mt. Bike Ride

Directions to trailhead gate - From Enumclaw follow 169 North to the bridge closure signs at Enumclaw/Franklin Rd - turn right onto E/F Road and follow it 1.5 miles to a blue DNR gate on the left. From Black Diamond Follow the 169 detour to go around the bridge closure and once back at 169 turn left (north) to find the road closure signs then turn right onto Enumclaw Franklin road and go 1.5 miles to the blue DNR Gate.

Come discover the Green River Gorge. Ride with Eric Carlson of the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance on sections of a future Green River Gorge rim trail. The proposed, multiple-use, soft surface, trail will eventually go from Kanaskat State Park to Flaming Geyser State Park. Come learn about the incredible trail opportunities for hikers, mountain bikers, equestrians, and others in the Greenway.

I've been out a few times in the past weeks pre-riding the route I'll be following and Saturday's ride is going to be a great mix of challenging singletrack and overgrown roads with just enough gravel roads to make for nice rolling rests - there's even a little bit of paved road for those of you that have an inner roadie.....Eric C.

This year's Green River Cleanup will to be the biggest one yet. This year we have increased support and involvement from the local surrounding communities as well as local businesses, local and regional elected officials, and local and regional organizations.

After the ride come down to enjoy the cleanup festivities throughout the day at the Lodge at Flaming Geyser State Park. We will have a BBQ, live music, presentations, recognition awards, dessert and more... This is your opportunity to learn more about conservation work on the Green River, meet NW icon Wolf Bauer, and enjoy an evening of music by NW musicians.

About the Green River Gorge Conservation Efforts

Upland conservation will result in land for a "20+ miles" of multiple use singletrack trail along the southern rim of the Green River Gorge that goes from Flaming Geyser State Park to Kanaskat State Park. There are also other trails and trail opportunities in the area.
