Advocacy Festival 09
Come on out and enjoy some remarkable trails in the REAL Eastern Washington. This year we'll be reaching across to a broader region inviting riders from in and out of the state. Our primary purpose, to enjoy some unique beautiful terrain, and some rippin singletrack. With a higher purpose of bringing new riders to an area where access to mountain bikers is threatened. Meeting great people, sharing awesome trails, living the dream, and making lasting memories.
A different approach to the Crest, we'll start on Old Stage, navigate our way across to Marcus Trail. Climbing up Marcus to Kettle Crest we will ascend Copper Butte at 7135'. Then a long super fun descent down the mountain to Midnight Ridge, where another long easy grade descent through roaming range and old growth pine await.
15 miles 3000' vert
If you think Eastern Washington after the Cascades is a bunch of dry desert and rolling fields, you are mistaken. The Kettle Crest trail system meanders thru the high elevation of beautiful rugged mountainous terrain. Sherman Pass is located between the towns of Republic and Kettle Falls. Awesome singletrack (Closed to Moto's!!!) Email me if you have any questions or concerns. Kelowna7@hotmail.com

Pace of the ride will vary. We generally split the groups into 2. A faster paced group and a slower paced group. 5.5 is the preferred channel for radio if you bring one (advised). Unless you specifically ask to leave the group, we leave no rider behind, if you leave the group or are having trouble please tell a designated ride leader. By splitting the groups the faster riders have their fun with no undue pressure on the slower riders. My mission, get everyone safely off the mountain with a smile on their face.
We will be camping at Jungle Hill Campground. Less than 2 miles down from Sherman Pass take a left on Albian Hill Rd#2030. Follow road for .6 miles to the sign at the edge of the gravel pit. From there go .2 miles to the campsite area, super easy to find.
