IMBA National Trails Event

IMBA is coming to Washington June 4-7, and you’re invited to join in the special events. Jason Van Horn and Inga Beck of the Subaru/IMBA Trail Care Crew are teaming with Evergreen for a long weekend dedicated to improving local trails and having a fun time riding. The main event is the Sunday June 7 Trailbuilding School to celebrate National Trails Day.

Here's the schedule:
-- Thurs 6/4: evening ride at Paradise Valley
-- Fri 6/5: evening ride at Tokul East
-- Sat 6/6: Seattle Works work party at Duthie Hill
-- Sun 6/7: Trailbuilding School at Duthie Hill -- morning classroom session + lunch + afternoon field session.

For directions, maps and more info on Duthie Hill, check out the Evergreen's trail page: http://evergreenmtb.org/wiki/index.php?title=Duthie.

For more info on the trailbuilding school, check out IMBA's website: http://www.imba.com/tcc/trailschool.html.

Meet Jason and Inga. They’re one of two IMBA Trail Crew teams and will be coming to Washington. Armed with a brand new Subaru and two Gary Fisher Roscoe mountain bikes, Jason and Inga will travel North America to lead trail work sessions, meet with land managers, and connect with IMBA-affiliated mountain bike clubs to improve local MTB opportunities. Sounds like a dream job to me, and Jason and Inga are living the dream.
