Group will meet in the Red Hook parking lot under the sky bridge. This will be a standard Thrilla route approximately 18 miles and 1600 of elevation.
Riders will need to bring a light with a burn time of at least 2.5-3 hours. Ride time will be between 2 and 2.5 hours.
This ride is appropriate for riders that are strong climbers technical ability is minimal. Very minimum single track one small section with tight singletrack with two small descents/drops, otherwise mostly fire road and doubletrack.
This ride is part of the Sturdy Bitch Purely Custom Ride Challenge. It is not necessary to participate in the challenge email the ride leader if you are interested in this ride series and earning a Purely Custom Sturdy Bitch headset cap and screw. For details on the challenge click here.

Note that mileage and elevations are estimates could be a little more or little less depending on the route. Pace will be intermediate to fast with minimal stops.
Riders are expected to have a bike in good working order and have appropriate tools and equipment to perform reasonable maintenance on the trail. This is a self-supported ride to riders should bring appropriate food and water to stay hydrated and fed.
