At the last minute I decided to go to Colorado over Memorial Day weekend for an epic ride that I have no business riding. To help mitigate the damage, or perhaps just to get an advance warning about how much it's going to hurt, I'm squeezing in some last minute training by doing multiple laps at Tiger. A couple of us did this ride last weekend and it was pretty fun. The first lap will be the fire road to Iverson loop then the fire road to Preston RR loop, including a climb to the summit. The second lap will be the fire road to Preston RR loop without the summit. Somewhere in there we'll stop to eat a sandwich. Mileage will be approximately 27 miles and time will be 4.5 - 5 hours. Climbing will be in the 4000 - 5000' range. Wheels start turning at 9:00am. Look for a guy with a long goatee standing by a white Astro van. I'll be in the lower lot unless it's completely full when I get there, in which case I'll be in the upper lot. Call if you're running late or if you can't find me. Doug Chase 425-269-5636
