The Schematic Overview is our
original concept for the park, and the final trail layout has been changed quite a bit from the original
drawings in this document. Concept by Art Tuftee, graphic design by Christy Norris.
City of Seattle's original schematic design concept (1.4 mb) for the entire park. The general design remains the same, however on-site parking has been moved to curbside, and the dog park has been modified to deal with the steep slopes.

This is a viewable Meatafile (.wmf) of the 65%
CD trail layout submitted by BBTC to Seattle Parks for approval. Trail layout by Art Tuftee, with
substantial input by participants of our design review meetings. File converted to viewer friendly
formal by Lonnie Boggs.
The Metafile format is a windows native vector file format. The image zooms in very well when viewed with your windows picture and fax viewer application.

Tuftee. Art created all the construction designs and drawings on this page, with input received at our
design review meetings. The Technical Trail Features (TTF's) represented here are conceptual in
nature, and the actual features will be designed on site as we construct the trail and TTF's.

These construction drawings are of planned erosion
control measures, user control measures, and of the trail tread cross section.

Here are the obstacle practice areas that will
be part of the trail system. These are large TTF's that are meant to be sessioned, and have a bypass
route for users who don't wish to ride over the TTF.

These drawing are of main gathering areas. This will be both a trail intersection and a social area where non-riders can view the action, you can gear up, or hang out with your fellow riders.
