Win Cool Prizes for Getting Dirty in the Woods…Join the Dig-A-Thon!
Unlike rain in the Pacific Northwest, sweet mountain biking trails don’t just fall from the sky every year. Instead volunteers spend thousands of hours building and maintaining trails for all of us to ride.
In 2012, Evergreen donated 10,000+ volunteer hours to build and maintain a little more than 100 miles of trails statewide. If we all help on just ONE day a year we can easily donate 50,000 hours to trail building and maintenence in WA annually!!
From August 15th to September 29th 2013, you can win prizes for giving a little love to the trails you love to ride in Evergreen’s 1st Annual Dig-A-Thon!
So if you haven’t done your ONE day of trail work yet, now is the time.
What can you win?
Volunteer at three work parties during Dig-A-Thon and you get an Evergreen Tech-T as our thanks for helping make Washington a better place to ride!
Here’s how it works:
1) Volunteer for at least 3 hours at any trail work party on the Evergreen Calendar to earn one raffle entry.
Example: Jane come for the 1st time so she gets 3 entries. She brings a friend who’s also a 1st timer. Now Jane get 2 extra entries for 5 total and her friend gets 3 entries.
3) On Sunday, September 29th we'll host a Grand Finale Work Party at Tiger Mtn with a BBQ sponsored by Element Cycles and New Belgium Brewing. At the party we'll draw entries and announce the winners of the raffle at a work party. YOU DO NOT need to present to win!
All ages, experience and fitness levels are welcome. Bring the family out and do your ONE for the trails you love. You just need a willingness to spend a few hours getting dirty in the woods with a bunch of fun people.
Volunteer at least ONE DAY to help build or maintain our trails, and be entered to win sweet prizes. What could be better?
