Evergreen Youth Policy

Waiver and Medical Forms
If a parent or guardian has not provided a signed waiver and medical forms for each child, that child will not be allowed to participate in the class. Waivers must be signed by both the parent AND the child.

Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures
Parents must follow the pick-up and release procedures for class.

Evergreen instructors cannot transport a child in their own vehicle under any circumstances.

Drop-Off:
Child must be dropped off at the designated time and place. If you are going to be late please call the instructor and let them know. In the event a child is late it is at instructor discretion whether they can join the class depending on how much material has been covered. If late it is the parents responsibility for getting the child to the class location.

Pick-up:
Instructor must hand-off the child to parent at the designated time and place.

Late Pick-up:
Out of respect to our volunteer instructors, we ask that parents please be on time for drop-off and pick-up. An extra fee of $10 will be charged for every 10 minutes over the designated pick-up time.

Duthie:
Drop-off/Pick-up is in the Duthie parking lot at the picnic table. Parents must be on time and the instructor must verbally and visually confirm the child is met by the parent. If a parent is riding and wants to pick the child up in the Duthie clearing, they must inform an instructor at the start of the class and must be present at the designated time.

Other Class Locations:
Drop-off/Pick-up locations will vary for classes not held at Duthie. Parents will be emailed instructions prior to class.

Older Students:
Students age 14 and up will be allowed to leave without a parent but only with written permission from the parent in advance.

Parent Involvement
We ask that parents do not remain in the area during class to watch. Parents may either leave the area, or find a spot to watch where they will not be observed by the class.

The class is considered a ‘closed environment’ and we ask that parents not interact with the class or students during class time.
