Still No Zebra

03 | May | '24

I was hoping to get a picture of a zebra on a Washington mountain bike ride or a GoPro video but it wasn't in the cards today.  lol

I went to Raging River to return for a annual I-90 tour.  The festival is going to be here in a month so get yourself ready to come ride here soon!

I went up Upward Mobility and admired the wonderful drain work done by trail crews and also enjoyed the really clean trail going up. Then I went up Raging Ridge to the top but had to clear a wind blown, rotten tree from the trail first......

Thank goodness when it fell, it busted into four pieces, that was able to be cleared by a single, old, guy. After that, the rest of the ride was a lot of fun. The climb to the No Service summit was great and only an inch or two of slushy snow was still there from the freak, Sunday cold front a couple days ago.

No Service had very greasy roots covered in the snow which was a little frustrating at times but one hell of a good skills test. It was a great challenge. I went back up Return Policy which was in great shape and then descended Canyon Creek and had a blast. After that, climbing back up Raging Tiger was next and then descended all of Poppin' Tops and Flow State to finish the day and then went to go see family.

The Trailforks ride log is here.
